How often should I check the battery?
Once a year after the second year of the battery's life. If it's over 4 years old, every 6 months is safer.
Can I do the check myself?
You can measure voltage with a voltmeter (12.6V = full charge, 12.4V = 75%, 12.0V = 50%). But load testing needs gear most people don't own. That's why we offer it free.
What if the check shows the battery needs replacing?
